PPWC Grant Awards Night Supports Local Nonprofits

Pacific Palisades Woman's Club presented area nonprofits with financial support to enhance programs and services at its annual Grant Awards Night. Over the years, the PPWC has donated more than $1 million to local community and charitable groups. This year's recipients include Pacific Palisades Art Association, Pali Community Center Committee, Palisades Americanism Parade Association and many more.

Palisades Surgical Arts Combats the Opioid Crisis

In 2017, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services declared the opioid crisis a public health emergency. Approximately 130 people die each day from opioid-related drug overdoses. Every day, more than 1,000 people are treated in hospital emergency rooms for misusing prescription opioids.
