Walk for a Cause

More than just a few-mile trek, the Walk to Defeat ALS® presents an opportunity to bring hope to people living with ALS, to raise money for a cure, and to come together for something you care about. The Walk to Defeat ALS is The ALS Association’s biggest annual event, which raises funds that allow local chapters to sustain care services and support research for much of the next year. This year’s Walk takes place Oct. 6, at Plaza Park in Ventura. Walk check-in is at 9:30 a.m., with the opening ceremony at 10:15 a.m. and walk kick off at 11 a.m. No registration fees.
